We have put safety protocols in place, are working with 2 separate teams and have spread out our available appointments to assist with social distancing – please call for an appointment or book online to assist with this!
I’m sure many of you have spent your extra time at home reflecting and we too at VISION have been reflecting on our practice and what it is that makes us who we are.
We certainly always need to keep working at serving you at the level you deserve, but these are some of the things that we firmly believe in at VISION.
Relationships/People
We have been in Cresta for over 30 years and many of you have been coming to us for years, or even decades. Seeing a familiar face always brightens our day.
Many of our staff have been with us for years and in fact Lyton, our magnificent lab technician, has been with us since the practice opened all those years ago!

VISION is a practice where the owners work in the store and the optometrists have close to a cumulative 40 years at VISION. We believe in the latest eye care solutions that work and last.

We believe in quality product at a fair price. All our lenses are sourced from the world’s top 4 lens manufacturers – Seiko, Hoya, Zeiss and Essilor.
We have also worked hard over the last few years to add more lens designs and coating types, each with their own features and benefits. This ensures that you have many OPTIONS so we can provide a lens solution for any pocket.
We pride ourselves on our frame selection – we have hundreds of frames and sunglasses on display, each with a minimum 1 year warrantee against manufacturing defects. We stock the latest in fashion ranges and exclusive brands as well as generic frame ranges starting at a few hundred rand.
Latest Equipment
We are proud to have state of the art diagnostic equipment that assists us in detecting and managing eye disease and aid with appropriate referrals where needed. We take pride when an early referral has saved sight.
Our equipment helps manage and detect conditions like keratoconus, glaucoma, macular degeneration and dry eye.

At VISION Optometrists we believe in giving back year-round to keep Madiba’s spirit alive. Since 18 July in 2019 we have done another 292 free EYE Examinations for those in our community that can’t afford quality eye care. Find out more here.
